Jophiel is the guiding angel of the Ghost Flower ritual.
Jophiel is aligned with Jove, Jupiter, Joy, expansion, inspiration, beauty and God. She is an emanation of levity. In alchemy, levity is the opposite of gravity. Levity is: rain, laughter, love, and song. Gravity is: graves, gravitas, seriousness, and limitation.
Our angel overcomes all limitations. If you make contact and allow it to happen you will (eventually) experience pure levity.
Your first task is to make contact with Jophiel. Here's how you do it.
Find a quiet place. If possible, procure a candle and some incense. It has to be quiet and you have to be alone. Once you have a space to operate in, simply call to Jophiel, sing the name, and give consent for the angel to enter your life. The angels are waiting at all times, but they must have your consent to work.
Then light the candle and wait to see what happens. You won't have to wait long. If you don't have a candle close your eyes and ask for a sign. Typical signs are wafts of perfume, breezes, hearing your name whispered, chimes, or just a general feeling of acceptance and belonging.
(If you find a penny, dime, or feather in your path in the days or weeks after making contact, take this as a very good sign.)
If by some miracle you can't make contact, I'm afraid you'll have to join the Order and get a bit of guidance -- or you can just keep trying.
