Congratulations, you've reached the "adept" stage of the ritual.
The next step in performing the Ghost Flower ritual is to consecrate the items that you plan to use. The ritual only requires three items to be consecrated. But if you're like me, you may choose to consecrate everything that you use. Here are the three items you must consecrate:
1) A bowl or glass box to dry & burn the flower in. 2) A plate to carry the ashes. 3) A "bell jar" or transparent crystal / glass covering to place over the ashes in moonlight.
Here are the items you'll need to perform the consecrations.
1) A candle. 2) A stick of incense. 3) A bowl of water. 4) A few pinches of dirt or earth.
Here's how to consecrate:
1) Perform a Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. 2) Light the candle and use the candle to cast a circle. Simply hold the candle out at arm's length and turn in clockwise circle imagining a ring of light or energy around your consecration space. 3) Light the incense.
Take each of your ritual items and touch them one at a time briefly to the flame, the smoke of the incense, the dirt, and the water. As you touch each item to one of the four elements say or think "I consecrate this item for Holy use." If you prefer, simply say: "I consecrate this item for my use."
What matters is your intent. Use the consecration ceremony as a way to "talk" to your ritual implements and tell them what you intend to do with them. State your intention to the Four Archangels. It's enough to simply say: "I intend to successfully perform the Ghost Flower ritual." You're free to say whatever you choose.
After you've consecrated each of the ritual elements: bowl, plate, and covering you must remove these items from the stream of daily life. Put them somewhere where they'll never be seen, exposed to electric light, or touched by anyone but you for any purpose other than performing the ritual.
Close the consecration ritual by clapping your hands, or laughing aloud, and say: "So mote it be."
Perform another Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram to "cleanse" your ritual space.
Go about your business and don't tell anyone about what you're doing.
The next step is to harvest your ritual flower. Available to non-members by 5-1-22.
OTC members receive instruction on the role of intent and on astrological timing for the ritual, meaning I'll help with timing the moon phase astrological / planetary hours for you.
